Cash, Wiley

Wiley Cash is an American crime writer. His first two novels went on to become bestsellers with a general appeal. He was born in Gastonia, North Carolina, where he grew up and attended high school. At eighteen, he went on to read a BA in literature at the University of North Carolina at Asheville, graduating in 2000. He continued to study for an MA in English at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, graduating in 2001, and post-graduate studies at the University of Louisiana, Lafayette, graduating with a PhD in English in 2008 while working as a temp teacher.
