Reginald Hill
The British author Reginald Charles Hill was born in West Hartlepool, Durham, but he moved with his family to Carlisle, Cumberland (now Cumbria) when he was three years old after his father, a professional footballer, had been bought by Carlisle United. Reginald Hill attended Stanwix School where he med Patricia "Pat" Ruell. They were married in 1960. The marriage was childless, but the couple were great dog and cat lovers.

Unni Maria Lindell is one of Norway’s most productive and best selling authors. Although she is best known for her crime novels, her emphasis is on books for children and young adults, and humorous books.

Maria Lang is the pen name of the teacher and head mistress Dagmar (Maria) Lange, one of Sweden’s most popular, but also most criticised, crime novelists.
