Davidsen, Leif

Leif Davidsen in a Danish author and journalist born in Otterup on northern Funen. He grew up there and in the neighbouring town of Bogerup. After leaving school in 1967, he spent a year as an exchange student in a high school in Middletown, New Jersey. Back in Denmark, he studied journalism, graduating in 1976. He began to write poetry during this period, and some of his poems were published in the respected literary magazine Hvedekorn in 1973.
