Kallentoft, Mons

Mons Kallentoft is a Swedish writer and journalist born in Ljungsbro near Linköping. He began to write at the age of fourteen when he was bed-ridden after an operation. After leaving school he worked in Sweden for a while. He then moved to Madrid in order to write. While there he worked on the draft of his debut novel Pesetas (2000). By the time it was published he was back in Sweden where he settled in Stockholm with his wife and two children. Alongside writing he did freelance work in the advertising business. The family returned to Spain in 2013 with the view of settling there.
