The American author Frank Morrison Spillane was born in Brooklyn, New York, to an Irish Catholic father and Scottish Presbyterian mother. Johan Theorin is a Swedish author and journalist. He was born in Gothenburg and grew up in Nora, where he moved with his family in 1964.
